Nimby Pictures began as a scrappy, passion0fuled venture when Emily produced Maggie, a heartfelt web series about a girl navigating love and loss alongside the ghost of her best friend. With no studio backing, Nimby Pictures relied on creative, community, and Emily's drive to tell meaningful, character-driven stories. Following Maggie, Nimby Pictures took on Gift of Peace, where Emily made her directing debut. These early projects, made on shoestring budgets but with boundless heart, established Nimby Pictures as a home for bold, intimate storytelling.
